On Campus Art & Poster Sale

Stage 1, The Hive, City Campus

Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 November. 10am - 5pm.

To kick off the week, we’re hosting an art and poster sale to help spruce up your rooms, making them fit your personality and feel more at home.  With hundreds of pieces to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

 

Eco Soup Kitchen and Shop Zero

Just next to The Hive, City Campus

Tuesday 14 November. 11am - 2pm.

Come and visit our Eco Soup Kitchen this Tuesday and receive a nutritional and affordable homemade soup. With a pay as you feel system, this lunch can be as cheap as you need it to be, and a great meal to keep you going through the day. You can also stop by Shop Zero to stock up on pantry essentials without breaking the bank!

 

Student Leaders Development Week: Your Role in Developing Students' Sense of Belonging 

City Campus, Rose Bowl 206
Tuesday 14 November.11- 11.30am

Join Dr Esther Pugh and Rebecca Golds to learn about current research into student belonging at LBU and how you might be able to apply the findings to improve student belonging in your own areas. Find out more here

 

Give It A Go! - Crafternoon – Mindful Colouring

LBSU Social Space and LBSU Communal Space, City and Headingley Campus

Tuesday 14 November. 2pm - 4pm.

This week we are inviting you to take part in Mindful Colouring for our Crafternoon activity. Bring out your inner Artist and take a moment to relax between your lectures.

 

Leeds Domestic Violence Service Drop-in

Portland G02 (Students' Union private office), City Campus

Tuesday 14 November. 2pm - 4pm.

If you need some help regarding domestic violence and advice for your next steps, then drop into the Portland Building this Tuesday for our support workers to give you some help.

 

Union Mixer

Stage 2, The Hive, City Campus

Tuesday 14 November. 5pm - 7pm.

This Tuesday we’re hosting a Union Mixer for everyone to come together. It will be open to students, LBSU Officer team, Student Community Officers, Course Reps, and the Student Academic Representation Team. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends!

 

Cross-communities Action Group Meeting 

City Campus, Calverly 203
Wednesday 15 November. 3- 4pm

This all-communities action group meeting brings together students across our Leeds Beckett communities to discuss active campaigns and projects intended to create positive change and enhance your student experience! This meeting is open to all, whether you are already actively part of a change-making campaign or you're just interested in getting more involved! Find out more here

 

Breakfast Bite

Thursday 16 November. 9:30am - 11am.

Start your day right this Thursday with our pay as you feel breakfast. With plenty of options to choose from like instant oats and Idli (Indian rice cakes), there’s something for everyone. And you can even grab a hot drink whilst you’re with us too!

 

Rock Retro's Vintage Clothing Pop-Up

Rock Retro's Vintage Clothing Pop-Up is coming to LBSU! Stop in and shop brands like Nike, Carhartt, Coogi, The North Face and more - all at student prices!

Eco Soup is an affordable and tasty option for students to have lunch on campus. This is a pay as you feel, student led business which offer a healthy and nutritious meal. You can also stop by Shop Zero's refill station to grab your weekly zero waste grocery essentials - like pasta, rice and more! 

 

Give It A Go – Shop Zero

Shop Zero - Just next to the Hive, City Campus

Thursday 16 November. 11am - 2pm.

Come to our Give It A Go! session at Shop Zero to learn more about the volunteering opportunities the Shop Zero, Eco Soup Kitchen and the Thrift Store pop-ups. You’ll learn how we run the sustainable businesses and how to boost your employability.

 

Thrift Shop Pop-Up

Thursday 16 November. 11am - 2pm.

Visit us this Thursday for our pay as you feel Thrift Shop.There will be a selection of clothes and homeware donated from previous students and staff, so be sure to come down and check it out!

Global Game

Headingley

Sunday 19 November. 11am - 12pm.

Turn up to Headingley Campus this Sunday for a kick-a-bout with some friends. This session is led by students and free of charge, so everybody is welcome. Use the chance to engage with people of all nationalists over your favourite sport. No specific kit is required, just book in advance here
