Vintage Fair with TVC

Stage 1, The Hive, Woodhouse Building

Monday 4 December, 12 - 5pm

We’re hosting a great vintage sale at The Hive this Monday so make sure you don’t miss out on all the great finds. They’re giving huge discounts, styling tips, handpicked treasures and even a chance to win a prize!

 

Christmas Film Quiz Night with Cottage Road Cinema

Stage 2, The Hive, Woodhouse Building

Monday 4 December, 7- 9pm

Start of your Christmas festivities right and join us this Monday for our Christmas Quiz. Battle it out with other students in a fun quiz and see what prizes you can win!

 

Eco Soup Kitchen and Shop Zero

Eco Soup Kitchen, Just next to The Hive, City Campus
Tuesday 5 December, 12 - 2pm

The Eco Soup Kitchen is back open for Tuesday so if you’re wanting something healthy and nutritional for lunch then come to visit us! We offer a pay as you feel service so this meal can be super affordable too. Plus, don’t forget to stock up on grocery essentials like rice and pasta without the plastic at Shop Zero!

 

Festive Fair

Stage 1, Events Hall next to The Hive, City Campus

Tuesday 5 December, 11am - 3pm

LBSU is hosting a Festive Fair with a selection of food, crafts and creative stallholders. You can expect to see our very own Eco Soup, Thrift shop pop-up and a Christmas Jumper Swap shop! There’s plenty more stalls to come so keep your eye out and the first 100 ticket holders will be given a free hot chocolate.

 

Give It A Go Crafternoon - Christmas Origami Decorations

LBSU Communal Space and Social Space, City and Headingley Campus

Tuesday 5 December, 2 - 4pm

Celebrate the upcoming holiday by creating Christmas origami decorations to sprinkle around your house. From simple snowflake to challenging reindeers, we have something for all abilities, offering you a space to relax between lectures and study sessions.

 

Leeds Domestic Violence Service Drop-in

Portland G02 (Students' Union private office), City Campus

Tuesday 5 December, 2 - 4pm

If you need some help regarding domestic violence and advice for your next steps, then drop in to our Portland Building this Tuesday for our support workers to give you some help.

 

Film Night – Showing Elf

The Hive, Woodhouse Building, City Campus

Tuesday 5 December, 5 - 7pm

This Tuesday we’re hosting a film night for students wanting to get into the Christmas spirit, and what’s better than kicking it off with Elf! Tickets are free and make sure to arrive for 5pm sharp as you don’t want to miss the start of the film.

Breakfast Bite offers a pay-as-you-feel breakfast with several meals to choose from. We have something for everybody and we serve hot drinks too! So, make sure you start your day right and pay us a visit before your lectures.

If you’re a fan of Metal and Hardcore music, then The Amity Affliction will be right up your street. Tickets are selling fast so make sure you get them whilst you can!

Eco Soup is an affordable and tasty option for students to have lunch on campus. This is a pay-as-you-feel, student led business which offer a healthy and nutritious meal. You can also stop by Shop Zero to stock up on zero waste pantry items like lentils, rice and more!

 

Chai & Chit Chat

Friday 8 December, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Join your Activities and Events Officer Harsh for some chai and chit chat about your uni life! Come and join us this Friday for some free food and drink. This is a chance for students to relax, socialise, and meet new people!

 

York Christmas Market Trip

Outside City Campus, Portland Way

Saturday 9 December, 9:30am - 4pm

Experience the Christmas magic in York this winter and stroll around the Christmas Market. This is a great chance to find local gems and gifts for your friend and family. Be sure to grab your ticket before they sell out here!
