The Christmas season is closing in and it’s time to start celebrating with some Christmas festivities. We have comprised a list of events which you can’t miss out on so take a look!
Leeds Christmas Market
24 November – 22 December 2023
This is a much-loved Christmas market that’s going to be bigger and better than ever! There have been 12 confirmed locations all over the city which will host a variety of local traders.
Millennium Square and Victoria Gardens
24 November – 31 December 2023
Ice Cube on Millennium Square is a brilliant way to start your Christmas festivities! There are different timings to suit all abilities and extra assistance for children, wheelchair users and skating lessons. Alongside the ice rink there are food, drink and craft stalls as well as themed rides and kids’ entertainment.
Christmas Tipis
Thor’s Tipi is a great opportunity to sit down and relax in between shopping. You can cosy up in blanket and a spot by the fire whilst drinking a hot chocolate or even a mulled wine!
Christmas shows and Pantomimes
Christmas season means one thing, it’s time to visit the theatre. With so many productions happening over the upcoming months, make sure to keep your eyes peeled on theatres and ticket websites.
Christmas shopping
In Leeds were so lucky to have a vast variety of shops. From large brands to smaller boutiques, there’s everything you need to find your loved ones a perfect gift this Christmas.
Left Bank Christmas Market
This event is perfect for students living in the surrounding areas of Burley, Kirkstall, Headingley and Hyde Park. The event comprises of local stalls, independent artists, seasonal drinks and music.
Christmas lights
A magical part of the festive season is watching the Christmas lights turn on. Although two have already been switched on, you’ll still have a chance to visit the remaining two.
